In August 2006 Skip Hedrich in The American
Eagle established a new land speed record of over 323 miles per hour
at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, with a terminal speed of over 336 miles per hour.
This allowed skip to become a lifetime member of the 300 miles chapter of the
200 miles per hour club.
